How to Order

 

Buying a portrait is simple.

• Contact me via email to discuss your ideas, size and style.
• Send your photographs.
• Discuss final details of the portrait. You can pick a background color if you wish or leave it entirely up to me.
• If you would like to secure a place in the portrait list, simply make a 25% non refundable deposit via PayPal.
• I begin painting. You will receive progress images in various stages to ensure all looks just as it should.
• When the portrait is completed, I will send a digital proof of the final painting to you via e-mail. The balance due, including shipping
• All approved order will be shipped within 3 days.

 

Photography Tips

 

A good photograph of your pet is all that is required to create a great pet portrait that you will love and cherish for many years to come. Extra photos are also suggested as these can serve as a reference for coloring, close-up details, and personality. The higher resolution, the better image detail.

• When taking photos of your pet, be patience! It will take some time.
• Ask a friend to hold some treats or a toy to keep the dog focus and look at the camera.
• Find a location with a simple background.
• Make sure there's contrast between the background and the animal. This will help me to see your pet more clearly.
• Use natural lighting when possible.
• Use flash if your dog has dark or black fur.
